Biography
HomeSlice is Denver's premier dance horn band creating a cutting-edge and powerful funky sound. This exciting band has it all, from funk to soul, jazz to rock, jump swing to ballads, and modern to classic. Every song is danceable and promotes a good time!

The bands 9-piece group is continuing the legacy of popular horn bands such as Earth Wind and Fire, and the Tower of Power. The band's diversity and background allows them to maintain a fresh sound that keeps the audience excited and buzzing.

Homeslice has it all, from funk to soul, jazz to rock, jump swing to ballads, and modern to classic, molded towards about any event. Every song is danceable and promotes a good time!

Their talent and song selection has them appearing at festivals, corporate events, and weddings all over Colorado, as well as Denver's hippest clubs.

The hand picked line-up boasts over 100 years combined professional experience that creates a high quality sound. The HomeSlice horn section features tight arrangements, energizing stage presence, and ace players that cut loose and solo like there is no tomorrow. The beautiful and amazingly talented lead female vocalist, Diana Wood, sings any style of music and brings goose bumps to your arms with the power, yet grace, of her voice. The lead male vocalist, Steve Franklin, captivates audiences with his dynamic stage presence, diversified vocals, powerful vocal harmonies, and all while displaying his mastery of guitar. The rhythm section produces a synergetic sound with elite players that performed as special guests of top bands on MTV. In fact, many of the Homeslice musicians have participated or worked with national acts are true professionals.

In addition to the talent of the musicians, HomeSlice provides professional sound, as needed, consisting of top quality equipment and the band’s experienced soundman running the controls. Your party, event, or club will get down until late in the evening with HOMESLICE...fresh, funky, fun for all!
