Consummate Colorado entertainer Timothy P. Irvin came up
with the idea to import bluegrass music’s Appalachian
magic to the West in order to create a unique brand of joyful
holiday music. Irvin enlisted his pals, and came up with a
spectacular collection of traditional favorites and new compositions.
At the same time he began assembling an all-star group of
musicians to bring the project’s unique sound to concert
settings. The result? A ten-piece holiday string band unlike
anything you’ve ever heard. Nine veterans of Denver’s
most prestigious acoustic and Americana groups join Irvin
onstage in a rollicking show, culminating with a seven minute
Night Before Christmas that explores each nuance of the Bluegrass
genre.
